If you own a iPhone 4 and have iOS 4.3 or up installed your lucky because Apple gave you a personal WLAN hotspot for sharing your 3G internet connection to your WLAN enabled devices nearby.
But i still have my old iPhone 3G but wish to share its internet with my brand new iPad 2, so what to do? – it’s easier than i thought:
- Enable bluetooth on both your iPhone and iPad
- Select the iPhone on your iPad in the bluetooth settings and pair with it (not other way round!)
- I had bluetooth tethering already enabled on the iPhone, otherwise you should enable it now
- enjoy your internet on your iPad, that’s it!

Ich habe genau die gleiche Situation. Würde auch gerne über mein altes i phone 3g ins Internet, da ich leider nur ein ipad2 ohne 3g habe.
Also habe ich die Anleitu probiert, doch komm beim dritten Punkt leider nicht weiter.
Bis zum dritten Punkt habe ich alles gemacht, doch was ist gemeint mit ” Thethering aktivieren” . Dafür habe ich leider kein Button den ich aktivieren kann nter BT.
Bitte um Antwort.

also Punkt 3 ist gemeint, dass man das Tethering (das ist das Freigeben des Mobil-Datennetzes über WLAN / Bluetooth oder USB an andere Geräte) einschalten soll. Ich hab das schon gemacht, drum hab ich’s nicht nochmal beschrieben.
Hier die Anleitung: In den Einstellungen unter Allgemein -> Netzwerk -> Internet-Tethering von 0 auf 1 schalten. Dann wird eben das mobile Netz vom iPhone über Bluetooth und USB geteilt, beim iPhone 4 geht das sogar über WLAN und nennt sich dann “Personal Hotspot”.
Dann sollte eigentlich alles klappen.
