Seit einiger Zeit funktioniert bei mir im iTunes das Update von Applikationen im AppStore nicht mehr. Ich bekomme zwar die Meldung, dass es neue Updates für meine iPhone / iPod Touch Programme gibt, aber immer wenn ich auf den Link klicke, komme ich in einen Loop. Das Loginfenster öffnet sich, ich gebe meinen Usernamen / Passwort ein und danach kommt das Fenster wieder und wieder und wieder und wieder …
Heute habe ich endlich hier die Lösung gefunden!
Ziemlich am Ende des Beitrags hat der User “X Rookie” den richtigen Hinweis gepostet. Das Problem war weder die Schuld von iTunes, noch von Mac OS X oder sonstwas, nein der Verursacher war NetBarrier! Ich verwende es als meine private Firewall und bin auch zufrieden damit, aber irgendwie war eine Option in den privacy settings vom Programm aktiviert, die das ganze Problem verursacht hat – und ich hab’s nichtmal selbst gesetzt 🙁
Nachdem ich “Hide my AppleID when using iTunes MiniStore” deaktiviert habe, haben die Updates im appStore in iTunes wieder problemlos funktioniert 🙂
For quiete some time it bothers me that i’m not able to update apps for my iPhone / iPod Touch directly in iTunes. I get a notification that some apps have been updated, but when i click on this link, i enter the infinite loop of login to the appStore: i enter my username / password correctly, but get the login window again and again and again …
Today i finally found a solution for that problem here.
Nearly at the end of the thread user “X Rookie” got the right hint for me. The problem wasn’t iTunes or Mac OS X, the problem was NetBarrier! I use it as my personal firewall and like it, but somehow a setting in the data privacy part of the program caused all the trouble and i didn’t set it 🙁
After unchecking the “hide my AppleID when using iTunes MiniStore” checkbox, the problems with the appStore updates are gone 🙂
